Children reach out to your parents.in love...

Hi...
May the Lord bless and keep each of you as you walk through this new week.
In the last days the Bible says we will see a lot of Godlessness.
The Bible warns children will be disobedient to parents in the last days.
2 Timothy 3:2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
But still God's word teaches us to 'obey our parents in the Lord.'
Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Matthew 19:19 Jesus replied, " 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Ephesians 6:2 "Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise—
Exodus 20:12 "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
It's the enemy's job to steal, kill destroy. Let him not defile this beautiful relationship anymore!
Psalm 127:3"Lo, children are an heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward."
He's trying hard to destroy and divide families and turning the hearts of children away from their parents and destroy their heritage.
But our God binds, heals and restores. He wants children to love, honor and obey their parents.
He is waiting to restore this beautiful Parent-child relationship. God's in the restoration business because He came to give life in abundance.
Malachi 4: 5 "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. 6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."
God's word always taught us to honor our parents.
Deuteronomy 5:16 "Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
But today many children hardly respect their parents.
But God wants to bring back the honor due in this relationship.
Matthew 19:19 Jesus replied, " 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.' "
Kids today think they know better than their parents. But there are times one must heed the wise advice of parents.
Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
There are many children  young and old, who have strained relationship with parents.
God wants to renews this vital relationship. Many parents are crying because their children have turned away from them.
Jeremiah 31:16-17 "hus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they [your children] shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border."
Children time to reach out to your parents.
~Parents aren't around forever~
Some of you children may have bad memories but still it's time to forgive, forget and move on.
If your parents are there, let's take time today to love, appreciate, forgive them if they have hurt you and ask for forgiveness if we have hurt them.
We need to treasure them while they are around.
~Some practical tips to help kids reach out to your parents.~
Love and honor your parents for it's God's command.
Obey your parents.
Accept correction when you are wrong.
If you hurt them say sorry. If you can't say it then you can leave a note for mom on her kitchen table or for dad in his bag or shirt pocket.
Don't return your parent's love with cold ingratitude.
When you see your mother's tears or father's sighs, find out what's bothering them & try to help hem, encourage them, pray for them.
Ask not what your parents can do for you but what you can do for them. Be helpful at home, run errands for them cheerfully and not out of compulsion. You can accompany mom to the bazaar, help dad to fix things at home.
Look out for ways to make them happy. Remember their birthdays and anniversaries, give them cards or gifts or a surprise party!
Don't expect to get all you want. Be prepared to accept a 'NO'. Look at the less fortunate kids around you and you'll be satisfied with what you have.
(That's what my mom always told me and my sisters)
Never do anything to betray their trust. When your parents loose faith in you, you've lost a lot.
If mom or dad yell at you..pause a moment and ask yourself....
a)Why are they shouting?
b)Is it really my mistake?
c) May be mom/ dad is sick or depressed!
d)Will my shouting back help to ease the situation?
It's better to explain to them after they cool down if it's not your mistake or say sorry and accept correction.
Be concerned if you parents are sick, take them to the doctor, see if they take their medicines on time.
Communicate with them & build a good friendship with them. A simple act of reaching out , holding their hands, giving them a hug or a kiss will make so much of a difference...!
Don't be irritable and complaining at all times.
Your loving smile, encouraging words, self sacrificing love will have a positive influence on them.
The years you spend with your parents are precious.
Give them your best time and care.
Once you get married you may move away to another town or country, so now when they are with you serve them with love.
Respect aged parents and care for them. You are their crowns in their old age, and take pride in them.
Need to know old age is a second childhood and just as you take care of your children, the same attention and same care need to be given to your old parents and elders.
Proverbs 17:6 Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.
Leviticus 19:32 "Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD."
Dear children will you commit to renew your relationship with your parents?
If 'YES' then the Holy Spirit will help you draw close to your mom and dad and narrow the generation gap.
God Bless you !
Be Blessed,
Julie
Here's an encouragement for Parents:

YOUR CHILDREN RELEASED FROM CAPTIVITY!!!

A Generation Called To Set This World On Fire*
By~ KALEMA ALEX™©~

"Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they [your children] shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border."
(Jeremiah 31:16-17)

Jesus has redeemed us from the curse. Many of us have been well taught about that redemption where sin, sickness and poverty in our own lives are concerned. But we often fail to realize that redemption has power over the destruction the devil tries to bring on our children's lives as well.

Deuteronomy 28 states the curse of the law in verses 16-68. Notice what that curse says about children.

"Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand" (verse 32).

"Thou shall beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity" (verse 41).

Many Christian parents are still suffering needlessly under that curse. Their children are being taken captive by drugs, alcohol and perversions. But it doesn't have to be that way! Since Jesus broke the curse of the law, these parents have the authority in the Name of Jesus to order Satan out of their children's lives.

Don't let the devil run roughshod over your children! Even before you see the first signs of rebellion in them, confess the promises of God over them and refuse to give the devil any room to operate.

Remember, our children don't understand the unseen forces that are coming against them. So it's our responsibility to stand against those forces on their behalf. Exercise that responsibility. Then take every opportunity to minister love to them.

God knows how to deliver your children. Do your part and trust Him to do His. He will bring them back from the land of the enemy!
